Stick washer


The stick washer is suitable for the chemical washing, rinsing and disinfection of the hanging sticks in cooking-smoking chambers. After fumigation these sticks are very dirty, sooty and tarry. These are difficult to clean manually, and very time-consuming because of the soaking.

Our recommendation for this task is the stick washer – shown in the attached image, which has the following main technical parameters:

  • Engine performance: 0,55 KW
  • Power supply: 3*400 VAC / 50Hz
  • Operating voltage: 230 VAC
  • Drum speed: 15 rev/min.
  • Drum receptivity: about 200-400 sticks (depending on location and design)
  • Washing time: about 20–40 min. (depending on the degree of contamination, concentration of the used chemical and the number of rinses)

The washable sticks should be put into a perforated plate washer drum inside the equipment, through an opening door (placed at the beginning). The sticks should be placed in all cases closely, in order to reduce strong, rattling noises, and thus sticks are less able to wear. After the upload the door must be closed, and - through the connecting water network - it must be filled halfway with warm water, then – through the fillers on the top - the appropriate detergent should be mixed to. The equipment is available in automatic version as well!
